Dassault Mirage IV

Dassault Mirage IV ( French Dassault Mirage IV ) - French long-range supersonic all-weather bomber . He made his first flight on June 17, 1959 . Serially produced in 1963 - 1968 (66 aircraft were produced, including 62 serial), was in service with the French Air Force in 1964 - 2005 . Intended for delivering nuclear strikes on the territory of the USSR and the Warsaw Treaty countries.

Creation History

It was created as part of the nuclear program of France. The performance characteristics were determined in 1956. An experienced aircraft took off in June 1959 [1] . The first production aircraft was launched in December 1963.
