St. Nicholas Monastery - an Orthodox monastery in the city of Gomel , belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church . The main temple of the monastery is St. Nicholas Church, founded in 1904 with the blessing of John of Kronstadt at the expense of railway workers. The monastery was founded in 1994 . It was reconstructed in 2004 . In addition to the main temple, the monastery has a gate church of St. Dionysius of Radonezh. The monastery courtyard with a church in honor of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God is located in the village of Teryukha.
