I don't love you

Although the group was on tour, the musicians began recording the single right during the tour, using improvised sound recorders. Early versions of the song were recorded on the first Life on the Murder Scene DVD.

The clip was directed by Mark Webb , the director of the three previous My Chemical Romance videos for songs from the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge album. Webb became a director instead of Sam Bayer who shot " Welcome to the Black Parade " and " Famous Last Words " from The Black Parade . A black and white video tells about two lovers living in a very strange, abstract world, showing their meeting, falling in love and a tragic separation. The clip also shows how the members of the group fall, but it is not indicated why they fall and whether they are held down. The first is Mickey Way's bass player, followed by Ray Toro's lead guitarist, Bob Bryar is the third drummer, Frank Iero is the fourth rhythm guitarist, and Gerard Way is the lead singer. At the end of the video, an amplifier and two guitars explode.

On March 7, 2007, the band uploaded a clip to YouTube and Myspace . The premiere of the video took place on British Channel 4 on March 8, 2007, and on March 9, 2007 the video was first shown on Kerrang! . On March 19, 2007 in the UK, video was distributed for purchase on iTunes . In New Zealand, the video was released on March 13, 2007.
