Automated enterprise management system

Automated enterprise management system (ACSM) - a set of software, technical, information, linguistic, organizational and technological tools and actions of qualified personnel, designed to solve the problems of planning and managing various types of enterprise activities. It is customary to classify the implementation of the MRP and ERP methodologies into the ACS category.

History of automated control systems

The history of the development of Soviet automated control systems (ACS) begins in the 1960s. The first was developed and implemented by the automated control system of the Lviv television plant - the automated control system “Lviv” . Work at the Lviv television factory began back in 1963, when Academician Viktor Mikhailovich Glushkov offered this work to Skurikhin Vladimir Ilyich and Shkurb Viktor Vasilyevich , employees of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Ukrainian SSR Academy of Sciences . But since Skurikhin V. I. at that time was busy developing the “Vanguard” system in Nikolaev, he offered this work to his graduate student Kuznetsov Vladimir Konstantinovich as the topic of his dissertation. In 1963, V.K. Kuznetsov and V.V. Shkurba developed a conceptual design of the Lviv system: V. Kuznetsov, in terms of a Computing complex operating in real time with 30 external data reception and transmission terminals and other additionally developed external information collection devices; Shkurba V.V. - in terms of developing models of optimal operational management of the main workshops of the plant. The design and creation of the computing complex of the system was carried out by a special design bureau of mathematical machines and systems of the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (SKB MMS MMS IC of the Ukrainian SSR).

In 1965, the Department of Automated Control Systems was created at the Institute of Cybernetics under the leadership of V.V. Shkurba . [one]

Employees of the Lviv Television Plant also made a great contribution to the development of the system.

At the final stage of preparations for the commissioning of the state commission of the Lviv system, Vladimir Ilyich Skurikhin took an active part. The Lviv system was commissioned to the State Commission in July 1967.

In December of the same year, V.K. Kuznetsov and V.V. Shkurba “for the development and implementation of an enterprise management system” were awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Komsomol Central Committee. And in December 1970, the main creators of the Lviv system for its development and implementation, headed by V. M. Glushkov, were awarded the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR in the field of science and technology. The materials on the Lviv system were most fully reflected in the journal Mechanization and Automation of Management, No. 3, 1969.

Further development of ACS was carried out in the direction of creating integrated ACS , integrated control systems . These are the systems of RASU , OGAS , ASUNT and others [2] .

Composition of automated control systems

The automated process control system of a manufacturing enterprise, as a rule, includes control subsystems: [3]

  • warehouses
  • supplies
  • staff
  • finance
  • design and technological preparation of production
  • production nomenclature (including catalog management system)
  • equipment
  • operational planning of production needs

System Examples

In the field of education, ACSM, as a rule, is understood as a learning management system . Examples are the Moodle and Canvas systems. One of the first domestic educational process management systems is the complex of information systems " ACS of the university ". Currently, ACS of the Universys WS University is actively developing, which quickly takes into account the changing realities of modern education.
