Biography
Early years
Born in the village of Dubrava, near Brcko , Bosnia and Herzegovina. Soon the Petrich family moved to the Croatian city of Vinkovci , and with the start of the war in Yugoslavia, she was forced to move to Switzerland, the city of Neuenhof .
Club career
Mladen Petrich started playing football at the local " Neuenhof ", and since 1996 at the club " Baden ", with which he signed his first professional contract in the summer of 1998. A year later, in the summer of 1999, Petrich went to the famous club “ Grasshopper ” from Zurich.
At the club level, Petrich spent five seasons for Grasshopper, after which in the summer of 2004 he moved to Basel .
