After the successful 2009/2010 season, Niko firmly settled on the bench of Harry Redknapp's team and in November 2010 it was reported that he and David Bentley would be sold in the winter transfer window . In the championship of England Niko spent only 3 matches and three times went out in the Champions League and in the Cup of England.
