Gribulina, Irina Evgenievna

Irina Evgenievna Gribulina (born September 29, 1953 [1] [2] [3] , Sochi ) [4] - Soviet and Russian composer, poetess, singer. In 2006, she was awarded the Lomonosov Order for her contribution to the musical culture of Russia [5] [6] .

Biography

Irina Gribulina was born on September 29, 1953 in Sochi in a family of creative people. Irina's mother was a famous operetta actress and singer in Sochi [7] , and her father was a journalist and writer. [8] At the age of four, she already wrote poetry and music, performed on the stage of her native city of Sochi [9] .

From 1962 [1] to 1972 [10] she studied at the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory , in the class of Dmitry Kabalevsky , then - at the conservatory. [7] From the age of 14, she began performing on the professional stage with famous domestic performers of those years. She was the co-host of the television program " Alarm Clock ", "Wider Circle", " Morning Post ", "Saturday Night", "Children's Music Club". [11] [12] . She wrote music for theatrical productions ( Lev Durov ’s play “Cruel Intentions” at the Malaya Bronnaya Theater , Arkady Raikin’s performances [13] , “ Yeralashu ”, television films. After graduating from the conservatory, Gribulin became not only a performer of her own songs, but also began to collaborate as composer and poetess with many famous domestic singers and actors, the first performers of her songs were Valery Leontyev and Lyudmila Gurchenko . Gradually Gribulina's songs appeared repertoire and other artists: Joseph Kobzon (more than 30 songs), Rosa Rymbaeva , Boris Moiseev , Anna Veski , Valery Obodzinsky , Valentina Tolkunova , Sergei Shakurov , Ekaterina Guseva , Alexander Marshal , Evgeny Kemerovsky , Nikolai Karachentsov , Alexander Abdulov , Julian , Sergey Rogozhin , Natasha Bogatzur, Anasha Bogatska, Nicholas Eremenko , Emanuel Vitorgan and other famous performers.In the 1980s, songs performed by Irina herself were especially famous, including "Impatiens", "Girlfriend", "Fish, birds, animals", "Bred bridges". [7] In 1987, for the New Year's “ Blue Light ” for Gribulina’s song “Quarrel”, which she performed in a duet with Nikolai Karachentsov , one of the first domestic video clips in the USSR was shot. The popularity of this song was so great that after some time Karachentsov and Gribulina recorded another joint song - “Bureaucrat”, which, contrary to expectations, did not become an event.

Irina Gribulina is also the author of music for children's musical performances “The Wizard of FLO Master”, “Oscar and the Pink Lady” at the Moon Theater , the animated films “Know-it-all in the sunny city”, “Know-nothing, transformations continue”, etc., she wrote a huge amount of music to the issues of " Jumble " by B. Grachevsky . Among the “Anthems” written by I. Gribulina are songs about Astana , Donetsk , Morocco , Ukraine , Kostroma , Voronezh , Stupino , Pushchino , Karelia , Sergiev-Posad , Podporozhye , Jurmala , Vladivostok , Yamal , the anthem to Sport, etc.

Irina Gribulina was married four times; After a divorce from her third husband, Vladimir Margoyt, with whom she lived for ten years in Jurmala , left Russia and lived in Italy for several years, then returned to Moscow. [7]

In 2014, the new musical by Gribulina “Chauntecleer” (staged by Sergei Prokhanov ) was released at the Theater of the Moon . [8] [14] She currently works as a teacher and producer.
