Tuanake ( French: Tuanake ) - an atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago ( French Polynesia ). It is located 20 km southwest of the island of Makemo and 20 km north of Tepoto.

Geography
The atoll has the shape of a circle, the diameter of which is 7 km. In the center is a lagoon connected to ocean waters.
History
Taunake was discovered in 1820 by the Russian traveler Faddey Faddeevich Bellingshausen .
Administrative Division
Administratively part of the municipality of Makemo .
Population
In 2007, Tuanake was uninhabited, although it was occasionally visited by residents of neighboring islands.
