MK-56 is a programmable calculator with reverse Polish entry for engineering calculations. It belongs to the second generation of Soviet programmable calculators. Electronics MK-56 is a desktop analogue of MK-54 , which in turn is completely analogous to the B3-34 model in its capabilities; only the representation of angles in hail was added to the software, but it was also present in later B3-34 models as an undocumented property.
Memory 98 commands and 14 registers, performance of about 5 simple operations per second. When you turn off the calculator, the contents of the memory are erased.
Element Base
Assembled on the basis of K145 series chips. The clock frequency is approximately 100 kHz.
To save space, the developers greatly simplified the microcode, which gave rise to many undocumented features (see Eggology ).
