Biography

Vladimir Pakhomov was born on July 17, 1942 in Sverdlovsk . He entered the directing department of GITIS (course A. A. Goncharov ), graduated in 1965 .

In 1965, after completing his studies, he became the head of the Odessa Youth Theater . He worked in this theater for 5 years, during which time the following performances were staged:

  • 1965 - “They and We” by N. G. Dolinina
  • 1966 - The Judicial Chronicle by Y. I. Volchek
  • 1966 - “Bubbles” by A. G. Khmelik
  • 1967 - The Undergrowth by D. I. Fonvizin
  • 1967 - “King Matiusz the First” by J. Korczak
  • 1968 - “City without love” by L. E. Ustinova
  • 1969 - “Forty-first” by B. A. Lavrenyov
  • 1969 - “After the execution I ask ...” V. G. Dolgogo

Later Vladimir Pakhomov worked at the Odessa Theater. October Revolution (from 1970 to 1975). The most noteworthy performances from the number staged at the Odessa Theater: “ Three-Penny Opera ” by B. Brecht (1970), “Rush Hour” by E. Stavinsky (1971), “Sorochinsky Fair” by N.V. Gogol (1972), “Birds of My Youth” " I.P. Druta (1973)," Weather for Tomorrow " by M.F. Shatrova (1974).

In 1975 he went to work in the RTT of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ( Petrozavodsk ). Here Vladimir Mikhailovich staged performances: “ B.L. Vasiliev was not listed”, “Don’t shoot white swans” by B.L. Vasiliev , “Seeing off” by I.M. Dvoretsky , “Territory” by O.M. Kuvaev and “ The Golden Key ”by A. N. Tolstoy . In Petrozavodsk, he had a conflict with the head of the Karelian Regional Committee of the CPSU, Ivan Ilyich Senkin, because of a comic offer to put Leo Tolstoy ’s novel “The Death of Ivan Ilyich ”. But in fact, the reason for Pakhomov’s conflicts with the local authorities was always that he was naughty, and they wanted to have an obedient one. [1] .

In 1977, Vladimir Pakhomov headed the Lipetsk State Academic Drama Theater named after L. N. Tolstoy . Here he was staged performances: “The Kid and Carlson, who lives on the roof” Astrid Lindgren (1978), “The Snow Queen” by E. L. Schwartz (1979), “The Little Prince ” by A. de Saint-Exupery (1980). Vladimir Pakhomov many and successfully put on the work of A.P. Chekhov and A.N. Ostrovsky . In 1999, Pakhomov staged the “Doll House” by G. Ibsen , the theater with this performance participated in the Ibsen-2000 Theater Festival in Norway ( Oslo ), where he was highly praised by critics and spectators.

Recent years

The last years of his life, the director was ill with diabetes . Died November 17, 2007 from cardiac arrest. He was buried in Lipetsk in the cemetery of the Ring Pipe Plant.

Family

He was married to the national actress Valentina Brazhnik, in 1992, divorced. My son Mikhail was killed in 2013 at the age of 37 by order of Yevgeny Kharitonov, former Deputy Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the Moscow Region, and Sergey Krasovsky, the former head of the Mosoblkommunalstroy state unitary enterprise. With the deputy and businessman Pakhomov Jr., the organizers of the murder wanted to demand a debt of 85 million rubles, but the performers killed him on the way to the customers. [2]

  • 1999 - Award of the theater festival “Voices of History” (Vologda) for the play “Visit to the patient of ward number sixteen” by M. M. Khutsiev and I. M. Khutsiev
  • 2000 - Award of the Festival dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Great Victory (Volgograd), for the performance "Vasily Terkin"

Perpetuation of memory

On November 17, 2008, a memorial plaque was opened in Lipetsk . She was placed on the facade of house number 7 on Voroshilov Street , where the director lived [4] .
