In April 1994, the 25-year-old Spartak football player Sergei Manikin tried to blow up the Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Ryazan with all the people in it, including members of the Slonovskaya organized crime group , who were burying their leader Nikolai Ivanovich Maximov. However, near the church, the detonator fired from the car alarm panel, and Manikin died. His legs were torn off and thrown onto a tree. The customer of the failed massacre was Viktor Ayrapetov, the leader of the competitive “elephant” “irapetovskaya” group [1] .
After the 1999 season, the team ceased to exist. A place in the second division was given to the club " Agrokomplekt ", which until October 5, 2000 also performed under the name "Spartak". [2] [3] [4]
