Bobby Chez ( Eng. Bobby Czyz , February 10, 1962 ) - American professional boxer , performing in light heavyweight categories. Former world light heavyweight champion ( IBF version, 1986-1987) and 1st heavy ( WBA version, 1991-1992) weight categories. Sometimes in Russia the surname is pronounced as Kzhysh , which is wrong, as in the USA during the broadcasts of fights, the boxer is always called as Chez .

Sports career
He made his debut in April 1980. In September 1986, defeated the undefeated light heavyweight world champion IBF Slobodan Kachar . In October 1987, Chaz was knocked out by Charles Williams . In March 1989, Chaz lost to the undefeated WBA light heavyweight world champion Virgil Hill . In June 1989, Charles Willas knocked out Chaz again. After that, Bobby Chez rose to the 1st heavyweight.
In March 1991, by a split decision, he defeated WBA world heavyweight champion Robert Daniels . In March 1992, he defended his belt by defeating Donnie Lalonde . After that, Chez left the belt, and did not go into the ring for two years. In 1995, Chez switched to heavy weight.
In 1996, Bobby Chez went to battle against the famous Evander Holyfield . Holyfield dominated the whole fight. A significant part of his strikes accounted for. At the beginning of the third round, Holyfield squeezed Chaz at the ropes and conducted a powerful attack. Chaz had difficulty keeping his feet. The referee stepped in and decided to count down the standing knockdown. Between the fifth and sixth rounds, Chaz complained of pain in his eyes. He was examined by a doctor.
