Fidof

FIDOF (FIDOF) - International Federation of Festival Organizations. It is registered in the USA as a non-profit organization [1] . It was founded in 1966 . It was originally located in the city of Split ( Croatia , [2] [3] . Currently, the organization’s headquarters is located in the United States. It is a member of the Russian National Musical Council .

Goals and objectives

FIDOF is the coordinator of information on festivals , contests and cultural events . It is related to more than 1600 festivals and events in more than 100 countries of the world. FIDOF supports organizers of festivals, their sponsors, television and record companies, classical and popular music and other areas of art, as well as prominent impresario, artists, publishers, composers, poets, etc., related to the organization and holding of festivals. FIDOF awards outstanding young artists with international diplomas. In addition, FIDOF has established a special award for festival organizers - DISTANT ACCORDS AWARDS. The aim of FIDOF is to strengthen peace and friendship through music and art.

FIDOF President is Mario Moreno. Vice Presidents - Hans Edler (Sweden), Figen Chakmak (Turkey), Norman Hamilton (Malta), David Stark (USA), Lane Davis (USA), Hannah Moreno, Rodion Bass (Belarus).
