Biography
Born December 16, 1988 in London [2] .
From the age of six, Anna was engaged in the school of dramatic arts Allsorts Drama in London. Anna Popplewell got her first role on television at the age of 9 in the TV series “Coast of thugs” (1998).
The debut of the actress in the big cinema took place a year later, when the movie “ Mansfield Park” (1999) was released. An interesting fact, Popwell, was auditioned for the role of Hermione Granger, but the role went to Emma Watson [3] . In 2000, she played in the movie “Vampirenysh”, after which she received several proposals, mainly these were the British TV series: “Love in a Cold Climate” (2001) and “Daniel Deronda” (2002).
In 2003, Anna Popplewell starred in "The Girl with the Pearl Earring " with Scarlett Johansen and Colin Firth, where she played Marti.
A great success comes to the actress in 2005, when the movie “ The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe ” is released, in which Anna sang one of the main roles [4] . In 2008 the continuation of the first picture “ The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian ” is released, where Anna also has one of the leading roles [5] , in 2010 the film “ The Chronicles of Narnia: The Conqueror of Dawn ” comes out, in which Ann only appears sporadically [6] .
In 2013, Popplewell received the role of Lola in the American television series "The Kingdom " [7] [8] .
