History
It was laid in 1960 to remove Volkovka from the Kupchino new development area.
Geographical Information
The length is about 6.5 km, the width is 1-3 m, the banks are strengthened and sod . In the upper reaches two parallel channels have been dug for drainage of the territory . In the area of the Balkan square, the canal is retracted into a pipe In its very beginning, it exists simultaneously with Volkovka . The source of the channel is also the mouth of the Shusharsky stream .
