Magnum Photos is an international photo agency and photographic agency that aims to distribute reportage photographs in print. Created on April 27, 1947 in Paris at the initiative of Robert Capa , Henri Cartier-Bresson , George Roger and David Seymour's “Chima” . According to legend, a one and a half liter bottle of champagne ( magnum ), drunk that evening, gave the name to this enterprise [1] . The foundation of the creation of a photo agency was the desire of photographers to preserve and protect the rights of their own photos and have a central bureau.
