“Dangerous Knowledge: Orientalism and the Discontented”
In 2006, Robert Irwin's book Dangerous Knowledge: Orientalism and Discontented was published, in which he sarcasticly criticized Said 's book Orientalism . He says bluntly that the book and, in general, the way of thinking and the arguments of Said are “this is a cheap fake, unreliable and insidious” [3] . Irwin writes that Said focused on the description and criticism of English and French orientalists, leaving Germany and Russia without attention [4] [5] .
