History
Throughout the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, Navaria was a small town in the Lviv land of the Russian Voivodeship. In 1578, King Stephen Bathory granted Magdeburg Law and privileges to Navaria with permission to bid. Magdeburg law had a great influence on the development of the town. So, soon a weaving workshop appeared in Navaria. At the end of the XVI century , apparently, the first coat of arms of Navaria appeared, which was an allegory of the fortified city - the castle wall with gates and three towers.
After the second division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Austrian government designated Navaria as the town of Lviv District. At the end of the 18th century, the city emblem was approved. Description of this coat of arms, which was used on local volost seals: "On a blue background there are open silver gates with three pointed towers."

- In the village is one of the few surviving masterpieces of the outstanding late baroque architect Bernard Meretin - the Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension of the Lord ( 1626 ) with a bell tower ( 1776 ). Reconstruction under the direction of Meretin was carried out in 1726 - 1739 (presumably, this is the first work of the architect). In the interior of the church is a painting belonging to the brush of A. Tavelio ( 1770 ). Both buildings make up a single baroque ensemble belonging to the Lviv architectural school.
