Lamentations (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire 2003) is the first DVD of the Swedish metal band Opeth . It consists of two parts: a video of a concert in London’s Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 25, 2003, as part of a tour in support of the Damnation album, and an hour-long documentary on the creation of Deliverance and Damnation albums, including studio shooting, musicians' comments and stories, as well as methods work of producer Stephen Wilson . All the songs from the Damnation album, three songs from the Deliverance album, and three from the Blackwater Park album were performed at the concert.

Criticism
The Russian magazine Dark City, setting the release the highest score, indicated the fact that someone who has found a positive response from such albums of the group as Deliverance and Damnation should definitely buy this disc, and for those who are not familiar with the work of the team, DVD can be used as a great opportunity to get acquainted with their musical activity. [1] The magazine noted a very good level of camera work, as well as a perfect light for music and a great picture. As an audio track presented DD 5.1. As the only negative of the release, the magazine noted the long duration of the concert. The magazine itself divides the concert performance into two parts: the first is static, during which songs from the Damnation album are performed; the second is dynamic, during which early material is performed.
