My favorite (film, 2006)

The star of the college, a member of the student rock group Sukhan Kapoor, easily won the love of the beautiful Pia. Happily hopelessly in love with her, Agastya understands that he has no chance against such an opponent, and retreats. After college, Pia, contrary to the will of her wealthy parents, marries poor Sukhan, who intends to pursue a movie career. Pia supports him, and finally he is offered to sign a profitable contract with one production company. But for this, Sukhan must part with Pia, which he does with ease. Pia steadfastly endures betrayal and does not even tell Sukhan that she is pregnant. Thanks to one of her friends, she moved to New York, opened a flower shop and raised her daughter Sukhani alone.

Sukhan’s career does not work out, his debut film fails miserably, and the producers refuse to work with him. He is interrupted by casual earnings and believes that glory and recognition awaits him. But suddenly his carefree life is overshadowed by a court decision on the payment of alimony. With neither the ability nor the desire to pay his daughter, Sukhan turns to his uncle's lawyer for help. They have very few chances to circumvent the law, but suddenly a savior angel in the person of Agastya comes to them, who came to India to find his first love, Pius. Agastya, who studied in America and became an astronaut, could not forget Pius and always dreamed of trying his luck again. Unaware of her life after college, he tracked down her old address. Sukhan, sensing that the appearance of Agastya could solve his problem, elicits his plans from him and, making sure that he has serious intentions towards Pie, persuades him to go to New York and marry her. Agastya’s only problem is his shyness , which has hindered him all his life in relationships with women. An experienced womanizer, Sukhan, promises to help him conquer Pius. Finally, Agastya agrees, and both go across the ocean to realize their plan.

In New York, Sukhan has to work hard to make an intelligent and timid Agastia an emancipated metrosexual. Sukhan himself, constantly reincarnating so as not to be recognized, follows on the heels of Aghastya and directs his actions with the help of a mini-radio. Agastier easily manages to win the favor of Pia, because his words and actions remind her of Sukhan, whom she still loves. Gradually, Sukhan begins to realize that he loves her, but the game has already gone too far. Finally, Sukhan is given the opportunity to see his daughter, and this dramatically changes his plans. He understands that he once made a mistake, and decides to start a new life. To begin with, he goes in search of work and mistakenly falls on the casting of an advertising company that is looking for a girl to advertise diapers. Sukhan, to everyone's perplexity, takes part in the casting and receives a very profitable contract. His face does not leave screens and billboards. Now all that remains is to meet with Pia and try to return her. But at this very moment, Pius agrees to a marriage with Agastia ...
