The collective name of the marine commercial fish of the macroleschukovy family is saury .
Epipelagic fish of subtropical and temperate waters, distributed in both the northern and southern hemispheres. The body is elongated, between the dorsal and caudal and between the anal and caudal fins, there are small additional fins, a caudal fin with a deep notch. The jaws range from elongated, similar to the beak-shaped jaws of the lobster jaw (in Scomberesox ) to fairly short with a protruding lower jaw (in Cololabis ).
