Located on the left bank of the Klyazma River, 11 km north-east of Vladimir , 2 km from the Lemeshki railway platform on the Vladimir - Kovrov line .

History
It was founded in 1871 as a settlement at the paper-weaving factory of the Andrei Nikitin Lemeshenskaya Manufactory partnership. According to the census of 1897, the population of the village was 1,258. [one]
Since 1927, the working village Orgtrud in the Vladimir region . From 1965 to 2004, the urban-type settlement Orgdrud of the Kameshkovsky District of the Vladimir Region .
