Career
Club
Pupil of the school CSKA. After graduating in 1984, he joined the army. After demobilization, I got a job as a collector. At the end of 1987, on the recommendation of a familiar coach from CSKA, he returned to football and went to play in Pakhtakor Andijan . He quickly got used to the new team and established himself as an excellent goalkeeper. The season 1989 began already in a new team - “Pakhtakor” Tashkent . For personal reasons, the team did not take root and was expelled. He returned to Andijan , where he began the 1990 season. The game year for Kornyukhin turned out to be crumpled due to events related to armed clashes in the Ferghana Valley in the summer of 1990. As a result, he moved to Saratov , where he played for the Falcon . By his own admission, 1991 began at the construction site as an auxiliary worker - concrete interfered. [1] By the summer of 1991 he returned to football, while managing to play for the Prometheus team Lyubertsy , KSM-24 ( futsal ), Torpedo Mytishchi . In 1992-1994 he played for Vympel Rybinsk , then for Rostselmash and Zenit St. Petersburg . The season 1996 played for the Kamyshinsky Tekstilshchik , where he was invited by the ex-coach of Vympel Vladimir Bubnov . Coaching
From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a goalkeeper coach in the club of the Second Division “ Torpedo-ZIL ”. Since December 2010, he has been a coach of the Ufa club goalkeepers.
Since 2015, the DFL qualifying tournament in the Yaroslavl region “Big Stars Shine Small” has been named after Yevgeny Kornyukhin and is held in the city of Rybinsk.
In 2017, he worked as a goalkeeper coach on the MATCH TV project "Who Wants to Be a Legionnaire".

Kornyukhin - the only goalkeeper in the history of the championships of Russia, who missed 5 goals from one player in one match . This happened on April 4, 1998 in Volgograd , when Oleg Veretennikov scored 5 goals against Shinnik, in which Kornyukhin played. In the championships of Russia there was another case when a player scored 5 goals in one match, but then Viktor Panchenko scored two goalkeepers.
