Cakva is a mountain-taiga river in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, a right-hand tributary of the Sosva river. The length is 170 [2] km. The catchment area is 1970 [2] km².

The source is in the south of the forest lintel connecting the town of Olvinsky Kamen (1041.6 m) and the Kakvinsky ridge (892.0 m). Current speed up to 0.8 m / s. The mouth is 71.3 m. On the banks there are picturesque rock outcrops, the Darkness caves , the Falcon Residence . In the lower reaches it winds heavily. The town of Serov is located 15 km from the mouth, and the village of Kakvinsky Pechi is 105 km away. The Kiselevskoe reservoir , on which the Kiselevskaya small hydroelectric power station is located, was built on the river. The reservoir is being restored after the devastating flood of 1993, which caused great damage to the city of Serov. There are taimen , grayling , pike , perch , ide , chebak , burbot , crucian carp , tench and ruff .
The etymology of the name has not been established, probably Mansi or Komi-Permian origin [3] . The name translates from Mansiysk: As - clean, wa - water. Kakva - clean water.
