Geography
In the center of the island is a lagoon . Morane consists of three small motu covered with thickets of pandanus and coconut palm .
Administrative Division
Administratively part of the Gambier commune.
Population
In 2007, the atoll was uninhabited, although from time to time it was visited by residents of other islands.
