The design of the electric locomotive was completed by the Special Design Bureau of the Tbilisi Electric Locomotive Plant . The first electric locomotive was launched at the Tbilisi Electric Locomotive Plant in 2000.
Electric locomotives are made with collector traction engines and are designed to drive passenger trains and light weight freight trains on long-distance railways electrified with a direct current of 3,000 volts. The power of the electric locomotive is 3000 kW, the maximum speed is 120 km / h. In total, 2 locomotives were built [1] .
