History

In the autumn of 1935, four tram cars began to move along the route “Krasmash plant management” - “Zaton”. The carriages were moved by a steam locomotive . The tram movement was launched on the initiative of Alexander Petrovich Subbotin, Krasmashstroy director.

The construction of modern tram and trolleybus lines began in Krasnoyarsk on June 16, 1956 .
May 1, 1958 in the city of Krasnoyarsk was organized tram management and depot, opened tram traffic on Prospect them. In 2009, the team of the tram depot at its own expense carried out two overhaul repairs to the tram No. 229 and No. 231, the usual control system of the CSWG was replaced by the ArsTerm TSRU on these trams, and the external and internal appearance of the cars also changed. In December 2013, the reconstruction of the tram tracks on Krasnoyarsk Worker Ave. (from 106 to 94) was completed, and a plan for the further development of the tram throughout the city was created.
