Koloa Talake (born July 7, 1934 ) - Prime Minister of Tuvalu from December 14, 2001 to August 2, 2002 after the resignation of Faimallak Luka . He sold the national top-level domain .tv to an American company, thereby increasing the income of his resource-poor country. In 2002, he initiated and coordinated the lawsuit of Tuvalu , Kiribati and the Maldives to the governments of the United States and Australia for refusing to ratify the Kyoto Protocol on greenhouse gas emissions, which leads to a rise in sea level and, consequently, the threat of flooding Tuvalu and other participants in the lawsuit.
