Abdrakhmanova, Tursynkhan Abdrakhmanovna

She was born on October 25, 1921 at the Boko mine in the Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of the RSFSR (now in the Zharma district of the Semipalatinsk region of Kazakhstan ). She began her working life in 1941 as a teacher, then worked as a school principal. In 1944 she joined the CPSU (b) . In 1943-1949 she was the first secretary of the Abay, Ayaguz Komsomol district committees, department head of the Chara district party committee. After graduating from a higher party school under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, she worked in the Soviet District Party Committee of the city of Alma-Ata . In 1950-1954, she was the head of the editorial department of the journal “Women of Kazakhstan” ( Kazakh. Kazakhstan әyelderі ).

After graduating from Kazakhstan State University. Kirov and graduate school she successfully defends her thesis on the topic: "Lyrics of Ilyas Dzhansugurov ", then works in the State Committee of the Council of Ministers for Press, on the presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR .

Abdrakhmanova came to Kazakh literature in the mid-1950s and proved herself as a talented, peculiar poetess. She wrote more than twenty collections of poems published in Kazakh and Russian. The first book of poems "Song" was published in 1959. In subsequent years, poetry collections were released: Song after Song (1962), Do You Know Them? (1963), Take Off (1966), and My Soul Is a Dove (1968), The Key (1972) ), “Maturity” (1974), “White Ray” (M., 1971), “Tenderness” (M., 1975), “Casket of Pearls” (1975) and others. The value of the poetic nature of Abdrakhmanova manifests itself, first of all, in lyrical irony. Subtle poetic observation, visual acuity, colorful colors, accurate drawing of the word determine the sound of her poems. Her poems “Stepnyachka”, “Anar”, “The Death of Karager” and others are filled with deep philosophical content, vivid imagery.

In the work of Abdrakhmanova, the theme of the life of Kazakh women is widely disclosed. The lyrical heroine T. Abdrakhmanova perceives the world in integrity and interconnection, with all its pains and anxieties, with the national identity inherent in Kazakh literature. Abdrakhmanova’s landscape lyrics made up a significant part of her poetic work. Images of nature are an emotional impetus for the reconstruction of the world. The archives of the Kazakh radio recorded about fifty folk and modern songs performed by Abdrakhmanova.
