History
- June 25, 1700 - Major-General Prince I. Y. Trubetskoy of recruits formed in Novgorod as an infantry regiment of the Roman Bruce regiment comprising the grenadier and 9 fuseler companies .
- 1700-1721 - Participated in the Northern War , having received the baptism of fire in the battle of Narva . He participated in the battles of Lesnaya (as part of the corvolant , battalion - 319 \ 300 personnel), at Poltava , near Riga , at Abo , in the Gangut battle , at the capture of Vaz , the occupation of the Aland Islands and the siege of Stockholm .
- June 25, 1702 - Denis Ridder Infantry Regiment .
- October 12, 1704 - Buterer Infantry Regiment . Given in two battalion composition: 1 Grenadier and 4 Fusilier companies in each battalion.
- March 10, 1708 - Vologda Infantry Regiment .

- June 9, 1724 - 4 companies that were in the Persian campaign under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Lukey, were dismissed for the formation of the Dagestan infantry regiment (in 1743 he entered the fleet manning), instead of them, new ones were formed in the regiment.

| On July 11, 1769, in one of the first battles of Khotyn, Colonel Gudovich led a battalion of the Astrakhan regiment and repelled the strong attack of the Turkish garrison of the fortress, and on August 14 in the Rachevsky forest with the same battalion he collected soldiers who fled from the battlefield and attacked a 9,000-strong Turkish column. In this battle, Gudovich fought off four Russian guns captured by the Turks, and completely defeated the enemy [1] . |
