The National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) is an integrated partnership of US research organizations working in the field of nanotechnology . The partnership is supported and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). All participants provide an opportunity for outside researchers in the field of nanotechnology to use modern equipment maintained by specialists.
Partnership Members
As of November 2007 , the partnership includes 13 research units of major universities:
- Cornell Nanotechnology Laboratory at Cornell University ( The Cornell Nanoscale Facility at Cornell University ).
- Stanford Nanofabrication Facility at Stanford University
- The Solid State Electronics Laboratory at the University of Michigan .
- Center for Microelectronics Research, Georgia Institute of Technology ( The Microelectronics Research Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology ).
- The Center for Nanotechnology at the University of Washington .
- Laboratory of nanoindustry Penn State of the University of Pennsylvania ( The Penn State Nanofabrication Facility at the Pennsylvania State University ).
- Nanotech at the University of California at Santa Barbara
- The Minnesota Nanotechnology Cluster of the University of Minnesota ( The Minnesota Nanotechnology Cluster (MINTEC) at the University of Minnesota).
