Symptoms
- Inability to focus gaze
- Usually accompanied by paralysis of the sphincter of the pupil , causing its persistent expansion (see Mydriasis ).
Causes of the disease
Tears and injuries of the ciliary muscle. It can also develop after some eye injuries.
Treatment
There is no specific treatment. The process is reversible, but it takes considerable time to recover and address the causes of the failure.
Contraindications
The use of atropine or its analogues for inflammation of the iris and ciliary body of the eye leads to an increase in the disease.
