Alban Lermusio ( French: Albin Lermusiaux ; April 9, 1874 - 1940 ) - French athlete and shooter , bronze medalist of the 1896 Summer Olympics .

In the beginning, Lermusjo participated in the 800m qualifying competitions that took place on April 6th . He took first place in his group, but did not participate in the final on April 10 , as he decided to participate in the marathon .

April 7 , Lermusjo competed in the 1500m race . In the race, he finished third, losing to Teddy Flack of Australia and Arthur Blake of America .

In the marathon, Lermusjo was a leader of the race for a long time, but he retired at the 32nd kilometer.

In firing from a rifle at a distance of 200 m, he took his place, below the 14th, but above the 41st. The exact position is unknown.
