History and Description
It was opened simultaneously with other MK MK stations in 1908 and occupied the territory of the former Babylonian Garden, which belonged to the Novodevichy Convent .
The two-story building of the station ( Khamovnichesky Val , 1) contained both apartments for employees [2] , and a control post for shooters, as well as a buffet (the only one on the Moscow District Railway). The transition to the platform was carried out from the second floor. Both the station building and this bridge bridge have survived to the present. The building is occupied by the South-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office.
The station served as an access road to the Kauchuk plant on Usacheva Street . The path was first marked on maps of the late 1920s, was dismantled in the second half of the 1950s during the construction of the Luzhniki Stadium, when the rail warehouse base of the plant was transferred to Ochakovo [3] .
The station was liquidated in the early 2000s, simultaneously with the construction of the Third Transport Ring . The station tracks were dismantled, on the site of the station there was a direct stage Kanatchikovo - Kutuzovo. Officially, by order of Roszheldor it was closed on November 15, 2016 [4] .
In 2016, the Luzhniki platform was opened on the Kanatchikovo-Presnya stretch on the former territory of the station.
