It is the administrative center of the Dnieper region, as well as the Slobozhansky village council, which does not include other settlements.
Content
Geographical position
The urban-type settlement Slobozhansky is adjacent to the northern outskirts of the Dnieper city, between the M-04 ( E 50 ) and T-0410 roads .
From the north-east side, the Druzhba park adjoins the village, which at the moment is a forest park zone. To the north of the village was built a cottage microdistrict "Golden Keys".
History
On February 24, 1987, the southwestern housing estate of the city of Podgorodnoe was allocated as a separate settlement (urban settlement Yubileinoe) [2] .
In January 1989, the population was9267 people [3] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 12,801 people [4] .
On May 12, 2016, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine renamed the village. Anniversary in the village. Slobozhansky [5] .
