History
The musical group The Sins of Thy Beloved (first called Purgatory ) was formed in November 1996. At that time, the members of the group were Stig Johansen, Glenn Morten and Arild Christensen. Soon, the participants record a demo, and then the All Alone mini-album on Nocturnal Records. In September 1997, the second keyboard player Anders Thue joined the band. The collection represents the best female underground vocalists and has it - The Gathering , Nightwish , Lacrimosa , Dreams of Sanity , Lacuna Coil , The Gallery and others. In 2001, the first video of the group was released, which was recorded in Oberwart during their tour with Tristania . And finally, on April 17, 2000, the second full-length album, Perpetual Desolation , is released, the first 10,000 copies of which were issued in the form of a beautifully designed box.
