Rodion (Rod) Sergeyevich Dyachenko ( September 22, 1983 , Georgievsk , Stavropol Territory , RSFSR , USSR ) - Russian football attacking midfielder and striker . Along with Igor Simutenkov and Sergey Raad, he is one of the first Russians to speak at MLS . Since 2017 he has been playing for the Vietnamese Can Tho club.

Content
The early years
At the age of three, Rodion moved with his parents, Sergey and Lyudmila, to Tbilisi , later to Poltava [3] , then, in the mid-1990s, the Dyachenko family emigrated to the United States, where they settled in Vancouver [4] .
Football career
In 2002-2005, he played for the team of the University of Nevada . In the 2005 season, he scored 23 goals in official meetings, after which he was recognized as the best player in the student league [3] . In the 2006 draft MLS , he was selected in the third round under a total of 31 numbers by the team of DC United . In the same year, the player in a special draft for the newly arrived team was chosen by the Toronto club, but on February 1, 2007, the previous club returned Dyachenko to himself in exchange for the right to choose in the first round of the 2008 draft .
In the regular season 2006 season , Rod did not have a permanent place in the squad and spent only 9 games, in the playoffs - 2 games, which is largely due to the problems of the team leaders [3] . In 2007, he scored one goal in 14 games of the regular season , in the playoffs he played one game, where he was removed at a compensated time, without helping his team to avoid relegation from the further cup draw.
In 2009, he played for the Minnesota Thunder club in USL-1 . In the 2009/10 season, he played for the Baltimore Blast club ( Indore Football ) in MISL , where he and the team reached the semi-finals, while in the symbolic rookie team.
In the 2010 season, he played at the Real Maryland Monarks club, which finished last, sixth in the USL-2 .
From 2011 to 2014 he performed in Thailand .
Before the 2015 season, there was a training camp with DC United , but was not selected to the team [5] . As a result, he spent the year 2015 as part of the SPA club from the second most powerful division of Malaysia [6] .
