Bogdanovichi (noble family)

Bogdanovichi ( Polish. Bogdanowicz , Ukrainian. Bogdanovichi , Belorussian. Bagdanovichi ) - two noble and noble families of different origin.

  1. The progeny of Semyon Fedorovich Dvorzhetsky , who was granted the estate in Orsha County in 1554 . His grandchildren Peter and Ivan began to be written by Bogdanovich, and this name turned into a surname ( Herbovnik . Part XII. No. 43).

Emblem. Part VII. No. 114.

In a red field there is an overturned horseshoe crowned with a golden cavalier cross and accompanied from the sides by two overturned silver arrows, and below by two opposite horns of the same metal.

The shield is crowned with a noble helmet and crown . Crest : the emerging crowned lion holding a sword. The bastard on the shield is red lined with silver [3] .

In the Little Russian coat of arms it is written that this coat of arms ( Lada ) is the offspring of Ivan Demyanovich (Bogdanovich), the Glukhovsky hundred cornet, and since 1680 - the priest [4] .

The crest is a golden horseshoe with spikes down and on it a golden wide cross, in the middle of the horseshoe are three golden bars, of which the upper is the smallest and the lower the largest.
