Shubarin, Vladimir Alexandrovich

Born in the city of Stalin (now Novokuznetsk ). From childhood he was engaged in amateur performances, he studied folk dances, step .

In 1951 he was accepted as a soloist in the dance group of the Pyatnitsky Choir . He studied dancing in the experimental class of the Moscow Choreographic School. Since 1954, he served in army ensembles. He was a soloist in the Red Banner Song and Dance Ensemble. Alexandrova . He studied classical dance, modern and jazz dances.

Created his original dance style. Since 1962 he worked at the Mosconcert .

In 1967 - 1969 he created his solo dance program - "Dancing in modern rhythms."

In 1977, he organized his own dance group, which lasted three years. In 1984, he created a second team - "Dance Machine", which lasted until 1989 . In these groups, Vladimir Shubarin himself was a soloist.

Vladimir Shubarin was also a talented singer. From the end of the 60s he acted as a singer, accompanying himself on the guitar , performed songs of his own composition. He recorded music albums. He played in films in films with Vladimir Vysotsky , Alla Pugacheva and others.

He wrote the memoirs “Dancing with Barriers,” which, after his sudden death, was brought to publication by his wife Galina Shubarina.

He died in 2002 from an extensive heart attack in Moscow . He was buried at the Vostryakovsky cemetery in Moscow.
