After graduating from the 1st Cadet Corps in 1836, he entered the ensign in the Kurinsky Regiment , located in the Caucasus ; Together with the regiment, he repeatedly distinguished himself in campaigns against the highlanders in Dagestan and Black Sea coast and was wounded twice, from 1838 to 1852. he was awarded for his military distinctions, including the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree.
In 1852 he was promoted to colonel and in 1853 was appointed commander of the Kurinsky regiment; in the same year he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree for differences in affairs with the highlanders. In 1855, transferred by the commander to the Prague Infantry Regiment , Lyashenko was part of the southern army. In 1857 he was appointed commander of the Zamosc regiment .
In 1864 he was promoted to major general and appointed assistant chief, the 14th , and then the 15th infantry divisions ; in this position he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 1st and St. Anna 1st degree.
In 1869 he was appointed commander of the 5th Infantry Division ; in 1871 he was promoted to lieutenant general .
He died on June 21 ( July 3 ), 1872 .
