Unlike the previous game, the action of "Elite Force II" mainly occurs on board the Enterprise-E in the Alpha Quadrant . The plot of the game is a semi-continuation of the movie " Star Trek: Retribution " and the end of the series " Voyager ". Many members of the Hazard Team are returning in the game. But only some of the main characters in the series Star Trek: The New Generation voiced the game, including Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard , Dwight Schulz as Reginald Barkley and Tim Ras as Tuvok . Some actors from the series also voice other characters: Jeffrey Combs ( Weyun from Deep Space 9 and Commander Shran from Enterprise ) as one of the main villains; Robert O'Reilly ( Gauron from Deep Space 9) as Crindo; John Garman Herzler ( Martok from Deep Space 9) as Luroc; and Won Armstrong (Admiral Maxwell Forrest of Enterprise) voiced several characters.

In the game, the player again takes on the role of Lieutenant Alexander Munro (this time there is no way to play for Alexandria Munro) from the Federation Star Fleet. During the first levels of the game, Munro returns to the Alpha Quadrant with the rest of the Voyager crew, after which he is made an instructor at the Starfleet Academy. In the end, Captain Picard makes Munro the leader of the new Hazard Team on Enterprise-E. The player is given a limited opportunity to walk along the corridors and rooms of the flagship of the Federation between tasks.

Overview

The protagonist of the game is moving along linear and strictly limited levels, meeting with various hostile creatures. It is often followed by other members of the Team, although quite often the player has to play the role of the “lone wolf” when other members of the Team cannot get to the player.

The game has only 15 types of weapons (including tricorder). Each has two modes of operation.

During the game, Munro meets two women with one of whom he can have an affair at the end of the game. Which of them will become his love interest, his fighting girlfriend or exotic alien, depends on the player’s conversational choices during the game. This does not affect the main plot at all.

Story

The game begins with the final series of the Voyager series, where the starship captures the Borg sphere. Lieutenant Munro and his Command fall into the sphere and try to destroy the ship’s absorbing field. After destroying the generator, Munro encounters a new type of Borg, a huge humanoid, the first boss of the game. Then the action continues according to the plot of the series - “Voyager” destroys the sphere with a torpedo from the inside and returns home.

Written off to the expense by the Star Fleet admiralty, which considered the Danger Team unnecessary in the "Peace Federation", the Team is divided. Munro remains at the Academy as an instructor in small squad tactics. Two years later, Captain Picard notices him and submits a request for the transfer of Munro to his ship and the reconstruction of the Danger Team. Soon after, the Enterprise receives a distress signal from the Dallas starship in orbit around the Attrexian station. The Dallas is served by Telcia Murphy, a former fighting girlfriend, and possible love interest, Munro.

On board the Dallas, the Team discovers a race of aliens, later called exomorphs, who captured the ship. After saving the surviving crew members, Munro reunites with Telia, inviting her back to the Team. The team discovers that the station is also under siege from exomorphs. After reactivation of the defense systems of the station, the remaining exomorphs leave it, leaving ionic traces along which the Enterprise follows to the planet Idrill.

On the surface of the planet, the Team has to fight the second boss - a huge uterus beetle. Munro then discovers an archaeological base producing exoforms. This base is run by Krindo, his father and Clia (Munro's second possible love interest), using these creatures as slaves. They explain that exomorphs became hostile due to system malfunctions. Clia decides to stay aboard the Enterprise to help Munro. This is not to the liking of Krindo, who sends his troops to invade the Federation ship while the Enterprise shuts down his energy shields to teleport the Team to the surface of the Attrexian colony Taravar 7, which was also attacked by exomorphs. Preventing the destruction of the Enterprise by the Krindo bombers, Munro enters the outer skin of the ship to manually control the pulse phaser to defend against enemy torpedoes and disarm the Krindo ship.

After saving the ship, the Team teleports to the colony, where it helps the colonists defeat the Four-legged, third boss. At a factory nearby, Munro discovers the fallen ship of Krindo. Chasing him to another planet, Munro defeats Leviathan, the fourth boss, and extracts information from him about the local base. Soon after the capture, Krindo witnesses the death of his father, who was trying to help the Attrexians on Taravar 7. Munro succeeds in convincing Krindo to cancel the invasion and, after meeting the fifth boss, Stalker, both manage to escape.

At Enterprise, Crindo confesses that he made money selling priceless artifacts to a single merchant. Krindo suggests that this Ferengi decoded the location of the main control base, capable of taking control of all control centers of exomorphs. After a chase through a mercenary base and a fight with Klignon Lurok, the sixth boss, a Ferengi merchant named Omag is captured.

During interrogation, he reveals that he sold the coordinates to the main base of a secret Romulan group called The Empty Crown. Under the guise of a Romulan, Munro infiltrates the Romulan base and, using the Romulan spy, discovers the location of the main control base. But when that spy reveals that she is a member of the Empty Crown, Munro has to fight her like the seventh boss. Towards the end of the battle, Gonzalez, a member of the Team, sacrifices himself giving Munro time to teleport to the Enterprise.

The final battle takes place in the Romulan Neutral Zone. Having made his way through the lava caves, Munro meets the Commander, the eighth boss. He then infiltrates the base occupied by the Romans under the command of Commander Suldock. While the Enterprise has to explain its presence in the Neutral Zone to the appropriate Romulan Warbirds, Munro fights Suldock, the ninth boss. After defeating Suldok, the final boss, Archeopendra, appears.

Having defeated Archeopendra, Munro returns to the Enterprise. Picard hands in his hands the novel of evidence of the guilt of the Empty Crown and peacefully leaves the Neutral Zone. Picard is also particularly pleased with the success of the Danger Team and sends to the Admiralty a proposal to create similar units on other Starfleet ships. The final scene shows how Munro kisses Telia (or Kliya, depending on whose invitation he accepted before the final assignment).
