It flows through the territory of the Ruzsky urban district and Istra district . The source is Glubokoe Lake . From the lake, the river flows through a swampy forest to the village of Ogarkovo. Further, it moves along a dense green stripe until the river Molodilya flows into it. After that, the “blue road” becomes faster, more full-flowing, the forest recedes. It flows into Istra at the southwestern edge of the city of Istra . Length - 48 km, catchment area - 483 km².
