Kunigunda Hungarian , Holy King ( March 5, 1224 , Esztergom - July 24, 1292 ) - Catholic saint, daughter of the Hungarian king Bela IV and the Nicene princess Maria Laskarina , wife of the Polish king Boleslav V. She was the niece of St. Elizabeth of Hungary , sister of St. Margaret of Hungary and the blessed Iolanta of Poland and daughter-in-law of the blessed Salome Piastuvna.

Biography
She devoted herself mainly to caring for the sick, lived in marriage as a girl with the consent of her husband, and after the death of her husband, she founded and entered a monastery in Stary Soncha . Died July 24, 1292 ; in 1690 she was beatified , five years later she was named the patron saint of Poland and Lithuania. June 16, 1999 she was canonized by Pope John Paul II . The Catholic Church celebrates her day on July 24th.
