Alexander Ludvigovich Kun ( 1840 - 1888 ) is a Russian orientalist , including an Islamic scholar .
He graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Languages of St. Petersburg University, served in the Turkestan Territory; later was an assistant trustee of the Vilnius region. In addition to the unpublished Religious and Legal-Political Surveys of Alcoran, Kuhn published Vakufs (Turkestan Provincial Gazette, 1872 , No. 21) and Essay on the Kokand Khanate (St. Petersburg, 1876; from Izvestia of the Russian Geographical Society) , 1876, No. 1).
Alexander Ludwigovich Kun died on October 21, 1888 [1] .
