Anderlecht ( Netherlands. Anderlecht , French Anderlecht , Anderlekt ) is one of the nineteen communes that make up the Brussels-Capital Region . Anderlecht is located in the western part of the Brussels metropolitan area. Anderlecht borders the following seven communes (clockwise): Molenbeck-Saint-Jean , Brussels , Saint-Gilles , Foret , Drogenbosch , Sint-Peters-Leuw and Dilbeck (the first four communes are Brussels, the rest are Flemish ).

Attractions
The three main attractions are located in the central area, next to the current Netherlands metro station . Sint-Guido / fr. Saint-Guidon .
- The Gothic Church of St. Peter and St. Guido (Sint-Pieter-en-Sint-Guidokerk), XIV-XV century.
- Yard of the runners. It was founded in 1252, but it has survived to the present day and acquired in 1634.
- House of Erasmus ( niderl. Erasmushuis ). The house of the beginning of the 16th century, in which Erasmus of Rotterdam visited in 1521. Now in the house is a museum.
Sport
In the sports world, the commune is known for its football club of the same name .
