Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Kuban , at the confluence of the right tributaries - Abazinka , Ovechka and Zhmurka. In the southern part of the village is directly adjacent to the city of Cherkess . A railway line runs from Cherkessk along the southern and western outskirts, then leaving on the left bank of the Kuban (stopping point Psyzh and then to Nevinnomysskaya ). On the opposite bank of the river, northwest and west of Chapaevsky, is the village of Sadovoye .
The main part of the village stands in a low-lying floodplain of the river, bounded by an elevated bank from the east. In the south, the floodplain area is expanding significantly (Cherkessk is located here on a wide plain), it is narrowing in the north, and the elevated bank almost immediately approaches the river beyond the mouth of Zhmurka. In this place on the right bank of the Kuban there is a small remote micro district Chapaevsky the size of 3 streets - exactly opposite the village of Sadovy, located on the left bank. The left bank here and to the south is covered with forest, otherwise there is no large vegetation in the vicinity of the village of Chapaevsky [5] .
