History
Title
It got its name from the street of the same name . The project was called "Gagarin Avenue."
Construction
In 1988 began [ who? ] to tunneling from the Gagarinskaya station to Sportivnaya and Moskovskaya (then Karl Marx). And in 1989, they began the construction of the station itself. The station was built in an open way.
Start
The station was opened on December 26, 1993 as part of the second launch site of the Samara Metro “ Sovetskaya ” - “Gagarinskaya”.
In front of the Rossiyskaya station there is a congress chamber (woolly congress), which began to be used on December 24, 2007. He allowed to launch trains on the section "Gagarinskaya" - " Moscow " in normal mode.

Architecture and Design
The floor is lined with granite . The columns are made in the form of nozzles of rockets, looking with bells at the ceiling. Spherical ceiling lamps are located on the ceiling. At the top of the recesses of the columns you can also see lighting lamps. The walls of the station are tiled, forming a panel on space topics. In the center of the station there is a building, which is a reserve for the transition to a non-existent line.
Track Development
Behind the station there are revolving dead ends for sludge rolling stock. Since December 23, 2007 , in connection with the opening of the Rossiyskaya station, it has not been used for train traffic.
