The Central National Committee ( Polish Komitet Centralny Narodowy, Centralny Komitet Narodowy ) is the leading center of the Polish rebel organization during the preparation and deployment of the January 1863 uprising .
History
It was founded in October 1861 in Warsaw as an underground movement committee, and since the summer of 1862 - the Central Committee. It included Polish revolutionaries - J. Dombrowski , S. Bobrowski , A. Hiller , I. Khmelensky, Z. Padlevsky , B. Schwartz . At the time of the uprising on January 10 (22), 1863, the Central Executive Committee declared itself the Provisional National Government (Tymczasowy Rząd Narodowy), in May 1863 it was renamed the National Government (Rząd Narodowy).
