Oleg Iosifovich Mayzenberg (born April 29, 1945 , Odessa ) is a Soviet and Austrian pianist.

Biography
Oleg Meisenberg was born in Odessa in 1945 , and a few months after his birth, the family settled in Chisinau . [1] He began to play the piano from the age of five under the guidance of his mother, Ada Arnoldovna Meisenberg. He studied at the special music school named after E. Koki in Chisinau with Evsei Solomonovich Zack , then at the Moldavian State Institute of Arts named after G. Muzichesku with Lyudmila Veniaminovna Vaverko . In the years 1966-1971 - at the Gnesins Music and Pedagogical Institute in Moscow with Alexander Ioheles . In 1971-1981 - soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic. Since 1981 lives in Vienna .
Father-in-law of O. I. Meisenberg - composer Mark G. Fradkin .
Teaching
In 1985-1998 he was a professor of piano at the Stuttgart Higher School of Music , since 1998 - professor at the University of Music in Vienna . Among his students are Marcus Hinterheuser , Roland Krueger , Til Fellner .
Recognition and Rewards
Laureate of the Schubert International Competition. Honorary member of the company Wiener Konzerthaus (1995), holder of the Austrian honorary Cross of the first degree ( 2005 ).
