Group History

Two future band members Dee Plume and Sue Denim met at the University of Liverpool and soon created Robots in Disguise [1] .

In 2001, Recall released their debut album Disguises , produced by Chris Corner. The next year, the single Boys is released. The second full-fledged album Get Rid appears in 2005. In the same year, the album was supported by 2 singles: Turn It Up and The DJ's Got a Gun.

The third album, We're In the Music Biz , created in collaboration with Chris Corner ( IAMX / Sneaker Pimps ), was recorded in Berlin. “Tears” became the “alternative single of the week” from Steve Lamacq on BBC6 Music . The clip for The Sex Has Made Me Stupid was banned on MTV and Topshop . We're In The Music Biz was also released in Japan by Avex Records.

The fourth studio album, Happiness V Sadness, was recorded with the support of fans: their charitable contributions covered all the costs associated with creating the album. This campaign was successfully completed thanks to the Pledge Music website.
